Who We Are
The Village is a church helping ordinary people (that’s you!)
become disciples of Jesus who make disciples
who make disciples and change the world.
We keep Jesus at the center as we follow him together. Following Jesus isn’t something we do all on our own. It isn’t something someone else does for us. Instead, we are the church together, freely empowering each other to dream, lead, and work together to change the world–starting with our own backyard.
Value #3. We Expect God to Show Up
We believe in a God who still works, acts, moves, and speaks. We are wide open and expectant for God to do that again and again. If we’re able to do it on our own, we’re probably not dreaming a God-sized dream. Download the eBook to learn more about our vision, our mission, and the 10+ key values that make us us.
Where We’ve Been
On January 10th, 2016, after months of planning, dreaming, and praying about what it might look like to be a church for the community, The Village transformed from 60 people crammed into a living room to a vibrant community meeting at Sunset Middle School. Today, we have:
600+ people meeting weekly across two services
250+ children per month hearing about the love of Jesus at Village Kids on Sunday mornings
100+ teenagers learning what it means to follow Jesus at Village Youth on Sunday nights
100+ people have said “yes” to following Jesus through baptism and/or public profession of faith
35+ Village Groups meeting in neighborhoods across four counties
$350,000+ re-invested in local organizations and ministries, each making a deep impact on the community

Where We’re Going
When we launched, we knew that Sunset Middle School was just a stop along the journey. We knew from the beginning that we would need a more permanent home by October 2021. In Spring of 2018, our church voted to purchase 23 acres of land at the corner of Old Burkitt Rd. and Nolensville Rd. to serve as the site of a future permanent ministry center in our community.
In the Spring/Summer of 2020, we break ground and take a significant step forward in being the church for this community that God has called us to be, as we begin construction on a permanent facility to serve as a mission outpost at the epicenter of the growth in Davidson, Williamson, and Rutherford Counties and beyond.
Join us as we prepare for the next chapter of The Village.
